Overlay Authenticator
The Overlay Authenticator is used to verify that you own or control the YouTube channel connected to this account. By using your unique overlay link in OBS or other streaming software, Content Quality Index can confirm channel ownership and safely associate live overlay data with the correct channel. This link is private, tied to your account, and should only be used by you. Do not share it publicly.

Once authentication is complete, your overlay key is issued and can be redeemed from your user profile for ongoing use. This link and key are private, tied to your account, and should not be shared publicly.

• Step 1: Sign in to Content Quality Index

  • Begin by logging into your Content Quality Index (CQI) account. This step establishes your identity within the CQI system and links your user profile to any channels you choose to verify.

• Step 2: Authorize Your YouTube Channel

  • After signing in, you will be asked to authorize CQI to access basic data for the YouTube channel you own or manage. This authorization is used only to confirm channel ownership and enable overlay functionality. CQI does not post content, modify your channel, or take any actions on your behalf.

Once both steps are completed, your verified channel is linked to your account and your unique overlay key can be redeemed from your user profile.
